646f9e108c In 1986, in Tennessee, the father of the boys Lester and Duff Daniels is murdered by a snake in a weird ceremony. Twenty years later, Duff collects snakes while Les fears them. One day, Duff visits the Kitawa Indian Screaming Hawk to buy snakes and sees a small snake in a jar. He decides to buy the snake, but Screaming Hawk tells that the species is not for sale. He explains that it is the dangerous Unteka that has three rules to raise it: (1) never let the snake out of the jar; (2) never let it eat living animals; and (3) never fear the heart of the snake. Duff steals the Unteka and brings the snake home. However, he accidentally drops the jar and the snake eats his cat. The snake gets bigger and bigger eating animals and the locals. Now Les, his former girlfriend Erin and Screaming Hawk have to stop the Unteka to save the local population. Some one needs to stop Sci-Fi network from churning out this 50&#39;s style b movie sci fi flicks. The Special effects were downright horrible. Everything seems so fake (including the hunters fear, before they are consumed) You can make out the blue screen used to make the Snake appear real.<br/><br/>The onslaught of the fair were, rather sad. The snake manages to consume most of the fair goers (including one scene on a tilt a-whirl, in which even the people not eaten by the snake manage to just up and die) And also, this will be the first time that 20 people can be killed in one scene, and all they manage to muster is one blood splatter.<br/><br/>DInocroc was entertaining. Megasnake was almost was badsitting through Krush Groove. However, I will give Megasnake credit for one thing. It set an example for the most anti-climatic ending in film history.<br/><br/>Many made for TV movies are bad. Megasnake is just below bad. Maybe mega-turkey would be a better title. Because this was a bigger turkey then I&#39;ve ever had on my dinner table at Thanksgiving. When one of the sons buys a special snake and it&#39;s jar is broken, things go horribly wrong.<br/><br/>&quot;(1) never let the snake out of the jar; (2) never let it eat living animals; and (3) never fear the heart of the snake.&quot; It was an OK SyFy channel movie to watch at 2am, buta monster movie it kinda blew chunks. Was it trying to be &quot;Gremlins&quot; or was it just let&#39;s make stuff up and put in a giant snake (someone say Anaconda)? I can&#39;t recommend itanything more than a meh.
